PESHAWAR, Jul 17 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor, Faisal Karim Kundi here Wednesday said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), Grandson of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had set a matcless example of patience and steadfastness at Karbala.
He said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) had stood against oppression and evil forces with great bravery and embraced martdyom for supremacy of Islam.
In a statement on Youm e Ashur 10th Moharram-ul-Haram here, the Governor Khyber Pakthunkhwa said the great sacrfices of the grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and his devoted companions for supremacy of Islam, survival of the religion and truth despite passing of several centuries were kept alive today and will allways be remembered.
He said that sacrfice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) had taught us great lesson of
Keeping unshakable faith and obtaining of justice besides following right path what come the situation may be in life.
“This day reminded us to stand firm and show great courage against cruelty and oppression and this is part of faith of every Muslim.”
The Governor said that all limits of brutalities and oppression had been crossed at Karbala where Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS), his respected family members and companions were brutally martyred.
Despite all brutalities, Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions could not go even a step back from their righteous struggle and noble mission.
The Karbala bettle taught us not to bow down head in face off oppression and cruel elements inspite of testing time and stand for supremacy of Islam and oppressed ones and should not scare from anyone besides not hesitating of any sacrfice in the way of Allah Almighty.
The Governor said we should always keep alive the spirit of sacrfice in our lives because those who stands for truth and righteous path were allways giving sacrfices, saying we should understand philosophy of Karbala battle in its true spirit under teachings of Islam.
The Governor said that we should look above of caste, colour, sects and show unity as Muslims and always prepare ourselves for supremacy of Islam, promotion of righteous and following of Islamic traditions imperative to achieve success in this life and hereafter.
