Umrah last date 2024

To ensure the well-being of both the nation and the pilgrims, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia occasionally suspends its services for Umrah. This involves temporarily halting the issuance of Umrah permits and restricting travel to the country for Umrah purposes. Individuals already in the country with an Umrah visa will be given a designated date by which they must depart. The temporary halt aims to prioritize the convenience and safety of all parties involved.

To facilitate the smooth organization of the Hajj pilgrimage in 2024, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the temporary suspension of Umrah services in Saudi Arabia.

As per the announcement, the last date of entry for Umrah pilgrims is on the 15th of Dhul Qadah 1445, which falls on 23 May. After this designated date, individuals who do not possess a permit to undertake Umrah will be required to wait until the issuance of permits resumes following the conclusion of the Hajj season. This measure ensures the proper management and prioritization of resources for the Hajj pilgrimage while accommodating the needs of prospective Umrah pilgrims.

Additionally, the ministry emphasized that individuals holding an Umrah visa must depart from the Kingdom by the 29th of Dhul Qadah 1445, which corresponds to 6 June. It was firmly stated by the ministry that those with Umrah visas are prohibited from participating in the Hajj pilgrimage.
